Mark has been active in the Geomatics Industry for close to 20 years, earning his degree in Geodesy from the University of Utrecht, Netherlands. Mark has a wide variety of experience that ranges from hydrographic and land-based surveying to high precision railway construction. He has managed a wide selection of production work in both the Municipal and Energy sectors, while contributing to the application of new technologies to everyday operations.
In his current role, Mark is responsible for the day-to-day production requirements within the Geomatics division at West Earth Sciences. He divides his time between guiding the production department and keeping a keen eye out for and implement innovative solutions to drive technology.

Sam French is an Environmental Professional with over 20+ years of environmental experience and is a registered Professional Agrologist in British Columbia (BC), Alberta (AB), and Saskatchewan (SK). She has a diverse range of environmental experience ranging from upstream oil and gas project work to environmental/regulatory compliance management at Steel & Tubulars manufacturing and scrap recycling facilities in Western Canada. Her experience includes pre and post-construction site assessments (Phase I/II, EFR, DSA, PDA, Environmental Monitoring, wildlife survey, and wetland assessments), site closure applications for upstream oil and gas and potash exploration wells, waste management and reporting (Industrial, D50, GL-99 and D58), pest and vegetation management programs, environmental audits (site inspections, divestiture/acquisition, Phase I/II, Compliance, and EMS/ISO 14001), GHG reporting (internal, Provincial and Federal), chemicals management and applicable reporting (internal, CMP, NPRI, etc.), Statistics Canada Surveys (Environmental Costing,
