Cristina Lopez joined National Bank Financial in 2016 as a Managing Director in the Energy Investment Banking group. Prior to joining National Bank, Cristina was VP, Corporate Development at PrairieSky Royalty where she was involved in over $2.5 billion of acquisitions and prior thereto was the co-head of Canadian Oil & Gas Research at a multi-national investment bank. As a research analyst, Cristina was consistently ranked as a top-three analyst by Brendan Wood International for her coverage of dividend paying E&Ps.

Cristina graduated from the University of Calgary with Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and Bachelor of Arts (Spanish) degrees and is a CFA charterholder. Cristina is a member of the CFA Society Canada’s Advocacy Council.
