The Finance portfolio is focused on the financial well being of the CAPL and involves the following timely responsibilities:
- The collection of accurate related data and its analysis
- Regular reporting of the results to the Board and Membership
- Providing recommendations to the Board and Membership
- Assisting in carrying out the directives of the Board and our Membership
- Management of the annual budgeting and audit processes
One of the long standing directives of the Board to all volunteer committee members is to abide by the "Expenditure and Conduct Guidelines for Committees Operating under the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen". These guidelines can be found on the CAPL website under Membership/Members Only Area/Conduct Guidelines and Expense Forms for CAPL Committees.
