Technology

The Technology Portfolio's mandate is to provide, maintain and continually update the CAPL website in order to provide a valuable service and source of information to its membership.  Over the last few years the committee has worked hard on a new website with increased functionality in an effort to make it more efficient and user friendly.  As a result a number of items have been brought online which include course registrations, membership renewals, the membership roster, and the Negotiator.

The committee continues to work on several initiatives that will compliment the new website and further enhance its capabilities.  They are always considering new ideas and opportunities to improve the website with the overall goal of making it a key source of industry information for CAPL members.  In addition the committee is also responsible for ensuring that the website stays fresh and current.  Over the upcoming year the committee is looking forward to adding some exciting new tools, increased online registrations, and improved search features that will benefit the membership.  We will also be looking at some of the behind the scenes capabilities which could allow us to manage our website content more quickly and efficiently.
